But when his aspiring protégé (Lindorf) publicly announces his departure from the firm, Hoffmann must vie with Lindorf for their number of shared clients. While mustering all the projects he can afford, Hoffmann catches wind that Lindorf has acquired a pitch to a major European client and quickly seizes the opportunity.
