Richard Tucker is an average father...he's completely frustrated with his family. So, when the opportunity arises for him to use their dysfunction to get a promotion at work, he's willing to do what's necessary to get ahead: trick them into a week of family therapy. Enlisting the help of his well-meaning but less-than-qualified best friend, Bill (pretending to be the family's "camp-appointed therapist"), Richard deviously attempts to win the promotion and fix his broken family in the process. The Tuckers find themselves at the secluded Johnson's Family Unity Survival Camp, alongside an assortment of interesting characters.
